It’s no secret that the New Orleans Pelicans have had a slew of dangerous luck over time.

In truth, a former New Orleans participant is without doubt one of the many individuals who suppose the franchise is cursed.

Talking with Marc Stein, by way of NBACentral, Daniels revealed his ideas on his former group:

“That organization’s cursed. Every year there’s something new. I’m happy I’m not there anymore…I had like four or five ankle injuries down there as well. There’s something down in that water down there or something. They got hamstrings. They got knees. They got concussions and stuff as well. They get everything down there. I don’t know what it is. Playing hard I guess?”

Dyson Daniels says the New Orleans Pelicans are “cursed,” and he’s glad he’s now not enjoying there 😳

Daniels spent his first two seasons with the Pelicans, averaging 4.8 factors, 3.5 rebounds, and a couple of.5 assists per recreation.

Issues have gotten significantly better for Daniels since he got here to the Atlanta Hawks.

He’s averaging 13.5 factors, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and a league-high 3.0 steals per recreation in Atlanta.

Daniels has been a beast for the Hawks, particularly on the defensive finish of the courtroom.

In truth, some persons are speaking about him as a possible Defensive Participant of the Yr winner.

The truth that somebody who has been so near the Pelicans feels this fashion concerning the group says rather a lot about how powerful issues are.

Will they ever be capable to shake this “curse” or is that this the best way it’ll be for the Pelicans for the foreseeable future?

Daniels is glad to be away from the group, and that’s not a shock primarily based on their dangerous luck.
