The Los Angeles Lakers have discovered a hidden gem.
Coaching camp invitee Quincy Olivari was fairly spectacular within the preseason, and he’s formally earned his spot within the league.
The Lakers signed the Xavier product to a two-way contract, and it looks as if he’s bought LeBron James’ stamp of approval.
As proven by LakeShowYo on X, James took to Instagram to point out his assist for the undrafted rookie.

The 23-year-old first launched himself to the NBA world by scoring 11 factors within the fourth quarter to spark a comeback win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
In addition to his environment friendly taking pictures, Olivari impressed the teaching workers and followers along with his defensive prowess and willingness to place his physique on the road on each 50-50 ball.
In a corresponding transfer, the Lakers will waive second-year C Colin Castleton to open a spot for him.
The Lakers have an excellent participant growth workers, and whereas Olivari may not be a gradual contributor to the rotation and must spend loads of time within the G-League due to his two-way contract, they clearly preferred what they noticed from him.
Additionally, there’s all the time an opportunity they’ll find yourself changing his two-way contract into a regular deal if he continues to impress.
